DAY 1 M. FRIDAY: ATHENS – KILLINI – ZAKYNTHOS
Morning departure for Kyllini and boarding the ferry. Arrival on the island and watching the Litany of the Crucifixion. Accommodation at the DIANA PALACE 4* hotel, in Argassi. In the afternoon transfer for the Epitaph sequence. Return to the hotel and dinner. In the evening (optionally) you can watch the procession of the Epitaph of the Metropolis, which leaves at 4 in the morning and wander through the streets of the city to get to know the old “Manzies” custom.
DAY 2 M. SATURDAY: TOUR OF THE ISLAND – RESURRECTION DINNER
Breakfast and departure for the round of the island, starting from the Church of Agia Mavra. Tour of Machairado, Anafonitria Monastery and Navagio. Stop to admire and photograph the wonderful beach (high from the platform). We continue to the coastal village of Agios Nikolaos, where we will take a boat trip to the Blue Caves (optional). Our last stop is Alykes. Return to the hotel. In the evening watching the Resurrection followed by a rich Resurrection dinner.
DAY 3 EASTER SUNDAY: EASTER LUNCH
After breakfast, free time and the Easter meal will follow, accompanied by traditional music. In the afternoon we will watch the litany of the Virgin Mary, time to walk around the fair and enjoy our coffee. Return to the hotel.
DAY 4 EASTER MONDAY: BASILIKOS – LOFOS STRANI – BOCHALI
Breakfast and departure for the Caretta Caretta sea turtle protected area in Vassiliko. We will then visit Stranis Hill above the city, where Dionysios Solomon inspired the National Anthem and the Free Besiegers. Next to it is the suburb of high society Bochali, with the settlement around the castle. Transfer to the city where we will visit the Monastery of Agios Dionysios, the squares of Agios Markos and D. Solomos and the coastal avenue Strata Marina. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
DAY 5 TUESDAY: ZAKYNTHOS – KILLINI – ATHENS
After breakfast visit to the Byzantine Museum and the Solomon Museum. Early afternoon passage to Kyllini and return to Athens with intermediate stops.
