DAY 1 ATHENS – MUNICH – NUREMBERG
Flight to Munich. Arrival in the Bavarian capital and a walking tour of the historic center, where among other things we will visit the impressive Marienplatz with the medieval architecture of the Old Town Hall and the clock of the imposing new Town Hall. We continue with the outdoor food market Viktualienmarkt, the Frauenkirche Cathedral, which is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and we will admire the Residenz palace from the outside. Free time and departure for Nuremberg. She associated her name with the Renaissance, religious reform, science, humanism and the “Nuremberg Trial”, which marked the end of World War II with the conviction of top German officials for crimes against humanity. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.
DAY 2 NUREMBERG
Breakfast and guided tour, during which we will admire its impressive fortification. We will see the imposing complex of City Hall buildings on the historic Marktplatz, as well as the impressive churches of St. Lawrence and St. Sewald, the Holy Spirit Nursing Home on the banks of the Pegnitz River, and the Kaiserburg Castle. Free time. Overnight.
DAY 3 NUREMBERG – BABERG
Breakfast and departure for the “Rome of Franconia”, Bamberg, surrounded by seven hills. During our tour we will see the unique bridge over the river Pegnitz, with the impressive old Town Hall, the Cathedral (10th-13th century), one of the largest Romanesque in Germany and the old and new Palace. You can find many antique shops and numerous breweries that specialize in making smoky beer. Return in the afternoon to Nuremberg. Overnight.
DAY 4 NUREMBERG – ROTTENBURG – NERDLINGEN
Breakfast and departure for Rothenburg, above the Tauber River valley. We will walk through the cobbled streets, admire the Renaissance Town Hall and the view from the medieval Tower. Free time. It is worth visiting the Cathedral of St. James with the amazing wood carving of the Sanctuary of the Holy Blood and strolling along the walls to admire the unique fortification of the city. We continue to Nördlingen, which is surrounded by a complete wall. Return in the afternoon to Nuremberg. Overnight.
DAY 5 NUREMBERG – REGENSBURG – NUREMBERG
Breakfast and departure for Regensburg, the “Queen’s Castle”, founded by the Romans and located on the banks of the Danube and Regen rivers (UNESCO). We will tour on foot on the historic Stone Bridge, a sample of medieval architecture, we will see the old Town Hall, and the Cathedral of Saint Peter, Gothic architecture (if it is open). Free time and return to Nuremberg. Overnight.
DAY 6 NUREMBERG – MUNICH – ATHENS
Breakfast and departure for Munich airport. Boarding the return flight to Athens.

The 5-day program does not include the 3rd day.
