DAY 1 ATHENS – MUNICH
Flight to Munich. Arrival and guided tour, during which we will see the University, the Arc de Triomphe, the National Theater, etc. This is followed by a walk through the old town, with the Residences palace, and passing through the area with the historic beer halls, we will end up at the Neo-Gothic Town Hall square, with the Column of the Virgin Mary. The monumental sights of the bustling Marienplatz are completed by the column with the golden statue of the Virgin Mary (Marienschule), the impressive Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus) and the Peterskirche, Munich’s oldest church, with its ornate architectural ornaments. We recommend a walk to the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary (Frauenkirche), with its amazing domes. Transfer to our hotel and free time. Overnight.

DAY 2 MUNICH – NUREMBERG
Breakfast and departure for Nuremberg. We will admire the imposing castle, traditional buildings, Gothic churches and beautiful bridges of the river Pegnitz. Renaissance houses, stone walls, cobbled alleys, neo-Gothic churches, picturesque squares and fountains make up a unique setting. The city suffered great damage during the Second World War, it was rebuilt but what was not restored was its name tarnished by the Nazi period, and the existence of the courthouse, where the 13 trials took place after the war, will forever stigmatize the city of Dürer . Free time where you can visit his house and the Toy Museum. Alternatively, enjoy the local beer of Frangonia Tucher. Late afternoon return to Munich. Overnight.

DAY 3 KIMZEE LAKE – KENIXLOS PALACE
After breakfast we will visit the lake region of southern Bavaria. Departure by small steamer from the port of Prien and transfer to the island. The Könichslos Palace was built in the 18th century and is one of the many palaces of Louis II of Wittelsbacher. We will be impressed by the streets in the park, the centuries-old trees, the many statues with the fountain in front of the entrance and the view of the alpine landscape. We will admire the baroque rooms, the original period furniture, the paintings and the contemporary kitchen. Return to Munich and rest of the day free. We suggest you visit with the help of our guide some of the Art Galleries, the Technological Museum or do your shopping in the old town.

DAY 4 REGENSBURG – BALHALA
Breakfast and departure for Regensburg, in the “heart” of Bavaria. From the Middle Ages until the beginning of the 19th century, it was an important political and economic center of Germany. In the old town there are many medieval buildings with characteristic high towers, while the picturesqueness of the area is renowned. It is an important cultural, economic, scientific and educational center. We continue to Valhalla (exterior), the architecturally successful transfer of the Parthenon to the Danube by Louis I of Bavaria. It is impressively built on a hill just above the river. Return to Munich. Overnight.

DAY 5 MUNICH – ATHENS
After our breakfast, we will be transferred to the airport for the flight back to Athens.
