DAY 1 ATHENS – MILAN
Flight to Milan. Arrival and city tour starting from Piazza del Duomo. We will admire the imposing Duomo Cathedral, the magnificent gallery Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the oldest shopping malls in the world with department stores, galleries and restaurants, the famous Milan Staircase, etc. Transfer to our hotel and settling in the rooms. Afternoon free. Overnight.

DAY 2 VERONA – BERGAMO
After breakfast we depart for Verona, the city of Shakespeare’s great lovers. We will tour Piazza Bra, where we will see the Roman Arena, the Barbieri Palace, Juliet’s house and tomb, and various outdoor cafés, pizzerias and trattorias. Free time. Next is the picturesque Bergamo, 40 km. from Milan, in the Lombardy region. It is located near Lake Iseo, on a hill at the foot of the Alps. We will admire the Venetian walls, the historic center, Piazza Vecchia and the church of Santa Maria Maggiore. Return to our hotel. Afternoon free. Overnight.

DAY 3 LAKE MAGGORE – STRESA – CRUISE TO THE BOROME ISLANDS
Breakfast and then we leave for our excursion to Lake Maggiore, it is located in the south of the Alps and “grabs” the provinces of Piedmont and Lombardy. Next is the romantic Stresa. You can enjoy a cruise to the Borromeo Islands (individual expenses). Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 4 LAKES COMO – LUGGANO
Breakfast and departure for the enchanting Como. We will tour the historic center on foot and admire the green landscape reflected in the waters of the lake. Next is Lugano, the city with the lake of the same name. We will see the 13th-century Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Neoclassical Museum of Villa Cani, which houses the Municipal Museum, and the Church of Santa Maria degli Angioli with frescoes by Tessin. Free time and return to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 5 VENICE
After our breakfast, we will visit Venice. Arrival and we start our tour of Galinotati. Transfer to Troncetto, from where we depart by vaporetto for the famous Piazza San Marco, the “most beautiful salon in Europe” according to Napoleon. We will see the church of the same name with the five domes, the Doge’s palace, the Clock Tower, the old prisons, the Bridge of Sighs and we will end up in one of the few Murano manufacturing workshops. Free time for coffee or a Bellini cocktail at the famous Florian, in St. Mark’s Square. Return to our hotel. Overnight.

DAY 6 MILAN – ATHENS
Breakfast and free time to do your shopping. We will then depart for the airport for our return flight to Athens.

The 5-day program does not include the 5th day.
