After your morning pick up from your central located hotel in Zakynthos, head to port and board on the ferry for Kefalonia. Arriving at Kefalonia island, first stop is at the monastery of St. Gerassimos, the patron of the Island. St Gerassimos was known for his miraculous abilities and the monastery is considered one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Kefalonia.

You then head off to the impressive Drogarati Cave with its breathtaking stalactites & stalagmites. Experts estimate that the cave is about 150 million years old. Continue to Melissani Lake and Cave. Explore by boat the cave stalactites, which are over 20,000 years old. Following a roof cave-in, an impressive sight has been created causing the colors of the water to be reflected onto the walls of the cave.

After a morning full of images head off to Aghia Efimia, a wonderful town with a small harbor. Free time for lunch or you can stroll around and enjoy a refreshing swim. After lunch, pass by Myrtos Bay, one of Kefalonia’s famous beaches and arrive at Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. Relax in the square or wander around before reboarding the coach to start your journey back to the port. Depart at 17.30 and arrives back in Zakynthos around 19.00. Tour finishes with a drop off service.
