EASTER IN NAFPLIO

DAY 1 M. FRIDAY: ATHENS – EPIDAUROS – DREPANO – NAFPLIO
Departure from Athens and through the Baths of Orea Eleni – Old Epidaurus we arrive at the archaeological site of Ancient Epidaurus, where we will visit the Museum and the Ancient Theater. We continue to Nafplio, free time for a walk and lunch. Arrival at THE GROVE SEASIDE HOTEL 4* in Drepano. In the evening transfer to Nafplio to watch the Epitaphion Procession. Dinner.

DAY 2 M. SATURDAY: VYTINA – DIMITSANA – STEMNITSA
Breakfast and departure for the picturesque Vytina, at an altitude of 1033m. in Mainalos and among the fir trees. Stop for a coffee and we continue to Dimitsana with its imposing view, where we will have the opportunity to visit the open-air Hydrokinesis Museum (if it is open). Time for lunch and then we will visit the traditional Stemnitsa, where we will walk through the picturesque alleys of the village and see the hero of the ’21 fighters. We continue to the model center of tastes and home cooking “Arkadiani”, in the village of Psari (lunch optional). Late afternoon return to the hotel. In the evening, transfer to the Resurrection, followed by the Resurrection dinner.

DAY 3 EASTER SUNDAY: EASTER LUNCH – NAFPLIO
Breakfast and free time to watch the traditional roasting of ovelia in the hotel garden, where ouzo and mezes are offered. This is followed by a rich Easter meal with delicacies, music, dancing and singing. In the afternoon we will be transferred to Nafplio for a walk in the unique complex of Frankish, Venetian and Turkish buildings in the center. We will admire the restored building of the first Parliament of the Greeks, which houses the Archaeological Museum, Agios Spyridon and others. Return to the hotel.

DAY 4 EASTER MONDAY: LEONIDIO – ELONIS MONASTERY – PLAKA – ATHENS
Breakfast and departure for Leonidio. Free time to stroll through its traditional neighborhoods. We continue to one of the most beautiful and well-known monasteries of Arcadia, the Elonis Monastery, which is built in such a way on a vertical rock that it gives the visitor the impression that it is floating. Then we will go to Plaka Leonidio, a seaside area with fish taverns where we will have free time for lunch. Return journey to Athens with intermediate stops.
