DAY 1 ATHENS – DUBROVNIK
Flight to the “Diamond of the Adriatic”, Dubrovnik (UNESCO). Arrival and transfer to our hotel. We will enjoy our breakfast (valid for departure 13/4) and then depart for our medieval city tour. We will tour on foot inside the castle with its churches, palaces, fountains and towering stone buildings with mullioned windows and tiny hanging courtyards. We will admire the Placa-Stradun, a central cobbled pedestrian street, the Pile Gate, the Onofrio Fountain, the Church of the Savior and the Franciscan Monastery on the west side. Next is Luza Square with the Column of Orlando, the Clock Tower, the church of the patron of the city, Sveti Vlaho (Saint Blaise) and the Sponza Palace, at the other end, near the Ploce Gate. Return to the hotel. Dinner,
DAY 2 DUBROVNIK – SPLIT
Breakfast and departure, through a wonderful route, to Split. We will tour on foot to get to know the place, which the Roman emperor Diocletian chose to build his palace in the shape of a Roman castle (UNESCO). Free time for coffee and return to Dubrovnik. Dinner, overnight stay.
DAY 3 DUBROVNIK – KOTOR – BUTVA
After breakfast, we will depart for the coast of Montenegro. Our first stop is the old town of Kotor, the “Nymph of the Adriatic”, where we will walk through the cobbled streets with stone mansions and see the Cathedral of St. Tryphon, the Museum of Maritime History, etc. We continue to Butva, the “Metropolis of Montenegrin Tourism”. We will admire the picturesque alleys with the many small churches and traditional shops. Return to the hotel. Dinner, overnight stay.
DAY 4 DUBROVNIK – MOSTAR
Breakfast and departure for Mostar, in Bosnia-Herzegovina, in the southern part of the country. We will walk through the picturesque cobbled streets of the old town and see the stone-built houses, mosques and the famous stone arch bridge Stari Most, over the Neretva River, with the Tara and Halebija towers (UNESCO). It was rebuilt after being destroyed by Croatian forces in 1993 during the civil war. Free time and return to the hotel. Dinner, overnight stay.
DAY 5 DUBROVNIK – KORČULA ISLAND
Breakfast and departure for the birthplace of Marco Polo, the beautiful island of Korčula, a miniature version of Dubrovnik. During our tour we will see St. Mark’s Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and Zachran Tower. Free time to stroll through the picturesque alleys. Return to the hotel. Dinner, overnight stay.
DAY 6 DUBROVNIK – ATHENS
Breakfast and free time. Then transfer to the airport and board the return flight to Athens.
