DAY 1 ATHENS – MASSELLE – SAINT TROPEZ – NICE
Flight to Marseille. Arrival and introduction to the capital of Provence. We will walk through the bohemian alleys of the old town and visit the Church of Notre Dame de la Garde. Free time for shopping. Next is cosmopolitan St. Tropez, a former fishing village discovered by famous actors in the 60s and since then transformed into a cosmopolitan resort. Free time to explore the bustling streets and port. Our last stop, Nice. We will cross rue Jean Medecin, the city’s most commercial street, where Notre-Dame, a miniature church of Notre-Dame, is located. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Overnight.
DAY 2 EZ – MONACO – MONTE CARLO – NICE
Breakfast and departure for the medieval hilltop village of Eze, overlooking the French Riviera. It is the headquarters of the Fragonard perfume house. Next is the Principality of Monaco, where we will climb to the top of the hill and visit the Jacques Cousteau Oceanographic Museum and the old town, dominated by princely apartments and exotic gardens. We will admire the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, with the tombs of the Grimaldi family. In a prominent position are the tombs of Princess Grace and her husband Prince Rainier III. We continue with Monte Carlo where we will see the famous Casino. Free time to walk the streets of the city, where the Formula 1 Grand Prix is held. We recommend visiting the Café de Paris and the Buddha Bar. Overnight.
DAY 3 SAINT PAUL DE VANCE – CANNES – ANTIBES – NICE
After breakfast we will visit Saint Paul de Vence. We will explore on foot the cobbled narrow streets and the Megt Foundation. We continue with Cannes. We will admire the promenade Croisette with its palm trees, expensive cars, yachts, luxury hotels, the building of the famous Film Festival and the villas of the 19th century. Our next stop is Antibes, where Nikos Kazantzakis wrote some of his works. Return to Nice. Overnight.
DAY 4 SAN REMO – MENTON – NICE
Breakfast and departure to San Remo, home to the Italian Song Festival also known as the San Remo Festival and the Milan-San Remo cycling race. We suggest you visit the impressive casino as well as the medieval quarter of La Piña, up on the hill. Next is Mendon, which produces the best lemons, the symbol of the city and celebrated at the Fête du Citron. Return to Nice. Overnight.
DAY 5 EX AN PROVENCE – MASSELLE – ATHENS
Breakfast and departure for Aix en Provence, through a beautiful route with purple meadows, villages and vineyards. We will cross the Mirabeau street, one of the most beautiful pedestrian streets in Europe, with its impressive buildings. We will visit the famous Deux Garcons, opened in 1792 and enjoy our drink. Return to Marseille for our return flight to Athens.
