BUDAPEST – VIENNA

DAY 1 ATHENS – VIENNA – BRATISLAVA – BUDAPEST
Flight to Vienna. Arrival and immediate departure for the “Little Vienna of the Danube”, Bratislava. We will tour the Old Town with its cobbled streets, historic baroque architecture buildings, bustling squares and the impressive castle. Free time and then transfer to Budapest. Check in at our hotel. Overnight.
DAY 2 BUDAPEST
Breakfast and we start our tour from Pest. We will visit Heroes’ Square, with the statues and the Cathedral of St. Stefanou. Crossing the Chain Bridge we will find ourselves in Buda, where we will see the Fishermen’s Tower, Matthias Church and enjoy the view of the city with its imposing bridges and the islet of Margaret in the middle of the Danube, from Gellert Hill. Free time for lunch. We suggest you browse the Vaci Utca shopping street or take a short cruise. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
DAY 3 BUDAPEST – DANUBE VILLAGES – BUDAPEST
Breakfast and departure for the Danube villages. We will visit Esztergom, the old religious capital of the Hungarians. We will see the Cathedral, one of the largest in Europe and we will tour on foot, with the Danube in the background, on the Maria Valeria Bridge, which connects Hungary with Slovakia. We continue to Visegrad, with the famous royal palace. We will end up in the village of artists, Agios Andreas, with its countless museums and picturesque alleys. In its center is the square Fau Ter, with the large cross of 1763. Return to our hotel. Overnight.
DAY 4 BUDAPEST – VIENNA
After breakfast we will depart for Vienna. Arrival and we start a guided tour starting at the summer palace of the Habsburgs, Schönbrunn. We will tour the Ring Avenue, where we will admire the Municipal Park, the Opera House, the Museum Square, the Francis Joseph Gate, the Parliament, the Town Hall, the old Palace Theatre, the University and the Tamma Church, the Fotif Kirche. Then we will reach the Cathedral of Agios Stefanos and visit the historical quarter of the Greek parish. Transfer and check-in at the hotel. Free coffee time. Overnight.
DAY 5 VIENNA – VIENNESE FORESTS – BANDEN
Breakfast at our hotel and we depart for the Viennese Woods, where we will see Mayerling’s hunting lodge, where the love drama of Prince Joseph and Maria Vecera unfolded. Next stop the spa town of Baden. It is one of the most important high society tourist resorts. There are thirteen hot springs whose main ingredient is lime. Return to Vienna and rest of the day free. Overnight.

DAY 6 VIENNA – ATHENS
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Boarding the return flight to Athens.
