Πρόγραμμα

DAY 1 ATHENS – BELGRADE
Flight to Belgrade. Arrival in the capital of Serbia and transfer to the hotel. Getting settled in the rooms, free time and getting to know the city for the first time. Fascinating in its contrasts, full of parks, with a very lively coffee & bar culture, Belgrade is not accidentally presented as “Berlin of the Balkans” by the international mass media. Return to our hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 2 BELGRADE
After breakfast, we will get to know the beautiful Belgrade, with the Kalemegdan fortress towering over the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, a trademark of the city. The Knez Mihailova pedestrian street is the first street in the city to be named and at the same time the favorite pedestrian street of locals and visitors for a walk at all hours of the day. We will admire the Opera House, the Parliament, the old Palaces and the impressive Church of Agios Savvas. Overnight.

DAY 3 PARK FRUSKA GORA – “MOUNTAIN HOLY” SERBIA – NOVI SAND – SREMSKI KARLOVCI
After breakfast, a visit to one of the largest National Parks in the Balkans, Fruska Gora, where the Orthodox monasteries of the Serbian “Holy Mount” are located and are a unique cultural and historical monument (UNESCO). We will visit one or two monasteries. We continue to Serbia’s second largest city, Novi Sad, built on the banks of the Danube. In the picturesque old town the visitor can walk along the Zmaj Jovina promenade and discover small shops and hidden squares. Next is the town of Sremski Karlovci, rich in architectural buildings, such as the church of St. Nicholas, the old patriarchate, theological school, the 1st Serbian high school, etc. Next stop, a local winery where we will taste varieties of wine and honey. Return to Belgrade and free time. Overnight.

DAY 4 BELGRADE (FREE DAY)
Breakfast and free day. We recommend that you walk through the alleys of the old town and discover the Skadarlija area, known as “the Montmartre of Belgrade”. This was frequented by bohemian poets and artists at the beginning of the 20th century, while today it is full of cafés, restaurants and bars. On its cobbled street you will find street musicians, as well as many galleries. Return to the hotel, overnight stay.

DAY 5 BELGRADE – ATHENS
Breakfast and free time. Afterwards, transfer to the airport and board our return flight to Athens.
