BARCELONA – FIGURES

DAY 1 ATHENS – BARCELONA
Flight to the capital of Catalonia, Barcelona. Arrival, transfer and check-in at the hotel. A guided tour of the center follows. We will walk through La Ramplas with its flower market, outdoor artists and painters. We will see the Gran Teatre del Liceu opera house and visit the central food and fruit market La Boqueria, where you can try cured meats, exotic fruits, fresh fish and tapas. We will come across the Canaleta fountain, where according to local tradition whoever drinks from it will return to Barcelona again! It is also the meeting point for Barcelona fans. We continue with Catalunya Square with its fountains and windmill on the floor and the famous Passeig de Gracia Avenue with its expensive shops and impressive houses. We will admire Antoni Gaudí’s great work, Casa Mila and end up at Ramplas Catalunya where we will have free time. Overnight.

DAY 2 BARCELONA
Breakfast and departure for the Montjuic hill, where the Olympic stadium and all the facilities of the 1992 Olympiad are located. We continue with Passeig de Gracia and the beach area of ​​Barceloneta, in Porto Olympico. We will visit Antonio Gaudi’s masterpiece, the famous Sagrada Familia church. Free time for rest and lunch. In the afternoon we suggest you visit the Pablo Picasso Museum, or the new Museum of Modern Art MOCO. Alternatively enjoy the Aquarium or a cable car ride.

DAY 3 BARCELONA – FIGURES – CHIRONA
Breakfast and we start for Figueres where we will visit the museum-theatre of the eccentric painter Salvador Dali. We will admire paintings from the early years of his life until his death and the permanent jewelry exhibition consisting of 37 unique jewels. Free time for coffee in the historic center and departure for Girona where we will admire the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, with the largest nave of a Gothic Church. We will tour on foot the Jewish suburb, where the Sephardim lived, the Jews of Spain until 1492. Return to the hotel. For the evening we suggest you watch flamenco in its homeland. Overnight.

DAY 4 BARCELONA (FREE DAY)
Breakfast at the hotel and free day. Alternatively follow us on our optional guided tour. We will visit Antoni Gaudi’s Park Guell (UNESCO) and continue with the Arc de Triomf (Arc de Triomf). Finally, a walking tour of the Parc de la Ciutadella follows. Overnight.
DAY 5 BARCELONA – ATHENS
Breakfast at the hotel and free time. Transfer to the airport and flight to Athens.
