October 28 trip to Nafplion (4 days)

1st DAY Athens – Palamidi – Nafplion
Departure from Athens at 8:30 and a visit to the historical center of Nafplion. We will start from Palamidi for our panoramic photos and then wander around this unique cluster of Frankish, Venetian, and Turkish buildings in the center. We will admire the restored building of the first Parliament of the Greeks (Parliament), the Archaeological Museum, opposite the Trianon Theater, the churches of Ag. Spyridon and Ag. Georgiou, the City Hall, and other beauties of the city that await us. Free time for coffee and food (individual expenses). Arrival and installation at the central Amalia Nafplio 4*, rest, and free time to enjoy the amenities of the hotel. Buffet dinner in the evening.

2nd DAY Cyclopean walls of Tiryns – Loukos Monastery – Nafplion
Rich buffet breakfast and departure for the Cyclopean walls of Tiryns, to admire their size and majesty and to witness what even Hercules saw! Our next visit is the historic Loukous Monastery, from the 12th century, the most important monastery of Kynouria and one of the most important in Arcadia. The famous sophist Herod the Atticus built his famous mansion next to the site of the monastery, which was revealed in recent years. In the afternoon we will be transported once again to the capital of romantics! Indulge in the magic and legend of Nafplio, wander through the narrow streets around Syntagma Square, have your photo taken, taste ice creams, honeyed donuts & other surprises in the elegant pastry shops. Return to our hotel and dinner buffet in the evening.

3rd DAY Elati – Vytina
Rich buffet breakfast and a wonderful route in the heart of the green Mainalos, in the beautiful Elati. This traditional settlement, built at 1200 meters altitude, offers images of magic and relaxation. After enjoying our coffee, we continued to the fir covered Vytina. Free time for coffee and food (individual expenses) and in the afternoon return to our hotel. Buffet dinner in the evening.

4th DAY Epidaurus – Athens
Rich buffet breakfast, time to rest in the comforts and gardens of Amalia and we depart for Epidaurus with its archaeological site, museum, and the famous ancient theater (individual expenses). We returned to Athens with a stopover.
