BRUSSELS – AMSTERDAM

DAY 1 ATHENS – AMSTERDAM – ROTTERDAM – THE HAGUE – BRUSSELS
Flight to Amsterdam. Arrival and immediate departure for Brussels. Crossing the Dutch hinterland, we will visit Rotterdam, The Hague and medieval Delft. We continue to the Kingdom of Belgium and the city of Brussels, where the “heart” of Europe beats. We will tour the bustling center and admire beautiful squares, impressive buildings, cobbled neighborhoods, modern structures that house the European institutions and the European Parliament. Transfer to the hotel and settling in our rooms. Overnight.

DAY 2 BRUSSELS (FREE DAY)
Breakfast and free day. We recommend that you visit the central Grand Place, with its beautiful buildings, the European Quarter, with its modern structures that house services of the European Union, and the shopping pedestrian street, Rue Neuve, with its cobbled streets and traditional restaurants , breweries and chocolate boutiques. Enjoy a walk in the “Upper Town” such as the “Avenue Louise” and the “Boulevard de Waterloo”, with the designer shops, or a visit to the Place Sablon or Sainte Catherine, with the quaint shops. Try local delicacies and some of the different beer labels that Belgium is famous for.

DAY 3 BRUSSELS – Ghent – Lille (OPTIONAL)
Breakfast and free day. We suggest you join us on our optional excursion (cost €85). We will visit Ghent and tour its historic center, where we will see its three medieval landmarks and majestic towers, such as the imposing Governor’s Palace, the Church of St. Nicholas and the Cathedral of St. Boniface. Next to them is the bridge of Agios Michael with the wonderful view of the canal and the pier of the old port. We continue with French Flanders and beautiful Lille, the “Paris of the North”, right next to the river Deule. We will admire Flemish houses, Charles de Gaulle, remnants of Spanish rule, imposing buildings of Haussmann architecture, but also Art Nouveau and Art Déco influences in every corner of the city. Free time and return to Brussels. Overnight.

DAY 4 BRUSSELS – BRIGES – AMSTERDAM
Breakfast and departure for medieval Bruges. We will see the central square, the Governor’s Office, the lake of love, scattered temples, the first hospital in Europe, bridges and traditional houses on the banks. Free time and we continue to Amsterdam, with the unique canals. Arrival followed by a panoramic introduction to the area. Then transfer to the hotel and settling in our rooms. Overnight.

DAY 5 AMSTERDAM – AMSTERDAM SHOPPING EXPERIENCE (FREE DAY)
Breakfast and free day. We recommend visiting the city’s famous markets, such as the Kalverstraat (Europe’s first post-WWII shopping street) and the PC Hooftstraat, home to global fashion houses. Don’t miss a stroll through the picturesque Jordaan district and the ‘Nine Streets’ (9 Straatjes). In the Bijenkorf and Magna Plaza department stores (former post office building, built in 1895) you can combine your shopping with a coffee or a meal.
DAY 6 AMSTERDAM – KEUKENHOF PARK – ATHENS
Breakfast and free time. At noon we will visit the tulip park “Keukenhof”, which remains open only 2 months a year, in the spring. We will admire colorful flowers and many tulips in a unique environment with picturesque lakes. Free time. Then transfer to the airport for the return flight.

The 5-day program does not include the 2nd day.
